General information only
The content of this site is patient education. It describes what produces the vertical creases between the brows, how the two parts of the line are told apart, and what treatment costs in time, recovery and risk. It is not a diagnosis, it is not a treatment recommendation for any individual, and it does not create a doctor-patient relationship.
No substitute for examination
How much of your own crease is movement and how much is etched into the skin, which of the two depressors is producing it, and what your brow would do if those muscles were quiet are findings that can only be established by examining you. Reading this site cannot substitute for that, and a plan made from a website alone is a plan made without information.
Results vary and are not guaranteed
Individual results differ, the effect of a relaxing treatment wears off over months rather than lasting, and no clinician and no website can guarantee an outcome. Any statement that appears to promise one should be treated with suspicion wherever you encounter it. The face continues to change after any treatment, and further treatment may be needed later.
If something is wrong after treatment
If you have had treatment to this area and develop a drooping eyelid, double vision, difficulty swallowing, speaking or breathing, or weakness spreading beyond the face, seek emergency care immediately. Fever with spreading redness, warmth or discharge from the skin, or a brow that has become uneven or heavy in a way that has not settled, should be reported to the treating team rather than waited out.
